MEET THE DESIGNER

Hey there! I'm Dawn - graphic designer, mother, wife, and Christ-follower. I live in historic Concord, NC with my high school sweetheart turned hubby and our two blue-eyed kiddos.

I fell in love with design in high school yearbook but I've always had a passion for fonts, fun patterns, inspiring colors, and creative layouts since middle school. Today, my affinity for these things has only grown and I love to incorporate them into what I create today.

I started Dawn Lockavitch Designs in 2007 after I graduated from Meredith College. This side hustle began as a creative outlet with the hope of one day taking it full-time. After ten years in the corporate design world, I was able to take this creative studio full-time at the end of 2018.

We used Dawn Lockavitch Designs for all of our wedding paper goods - save the dates, invitation suite, table numbers, menus, welcome bag cards, the list goes on and on. Dawn is so creative and so easy to work with . I swear she read my mind and always put together the most beautiful and classic designs. Dawn was so responsive and went above and beyond to make my wedding design absolutely special. For example, I really wanted a certain type of paper for my wedding invitation which was hard to come by in COVID times but Dawn searched high and low to find exactly what I wanted. I could not have been happier with how everything turned out for our wedding. Our guests could not stop complimenting our menus which were so unique and gorgeous!
